Fazer Mills’ organisation is developing swiftly and strong investments in prerequisites for growth will be made during the next few years. Many of the key people will retire in 2020, so the organisation has been reinforced to secure development within sales, R&D and production.

Tuula Laukkanen, Senior Manager, Oat Solutions will retire by summer 2020 and Pertti Vainio, Senior Manager, Sales, in autumn 2020. Pekka Mäki-Reinikka stepped down from the role of Managing Director in March 2020 and focus on training new Export Sales specialists during the spring. Jarkko Arrajoki, former Supply Chain Director, assumed the role of the Managing Director of Fazer Mills Finland from 1 March 2020.
Emmi Jokinen started on 15 January as Specialist, Quality and Product Development. She studies grain science and technology in Helsinki University and will soon graduate as Master of Science, Food. She has a strong knowledge of baking and of grains as a raw material.

Lauri Luostarinen has been appointed as Sales Manager, Export. He has a Master’s degree in International Business studies and he has diverse experience in sales, most recently from Hartwall. The appointment became effective on 27 January 2020.

A new Senior Manager, Production Tommi Puikkonen joined Fazer Mills Finland on 2 March 2020. He has wide experience in production management and B2B sales within malted grain products. Before joining Fazer, Tommi worked for e.g. Viking Malt, Teerenpeli and, most recently, Laihian Mallas.
